Our Children Need Your Help
The Olivia S. Washington School's of Liberia are non profit institutions dedicated to serving the educational needs of children from Gbarngba Town to Monrovia Liberia and environs. Obtaining a quality education can be difficult when one does not have the financial means. Many of our hundreds of students are less fortunate and travel long distances to attend our schools.
The children at Olivia S. Washington School of Gbarngba Town are being taught by four teachers. Since February 2006 close friends, such as Marge Hansel and Sherry Zimpetilla have helped with the payment of teacher’s and the contribution of benches for the school. By God's grace, I was finally able to give our school over to the Liberian government to run. As a single mother of five girls, I could no longer sustain the over two hundred registered students on my own.
Fast forward to 2013, God pressed upon my heart to try once again, and the OSW School of Red Hill Field was established. Thanks to my worthwhile efforts and donations from places such as The Eastern University Library, East Bradford Elementary School, Chichester School District, we can boast today that computer technology, library
facilities and materials are available to students of OSW School of Red Hill Field. We are blessed to say that this institution is now equipped with teaching faculty and staff who help to provide children with a consistent, quality, and applicable educational
experience.
Moreover, our children deserve sound
minds and healthy bodies. With this in mind, OSW School is also offering services
such as school lunches, which will enable our children to be focused and stable
while the learning process continues. With all of these great feet accomplished, unfortunately there is still quite a ways to go. Thank You for visiting our page and whatever you can donate to help build our schools, will be deeply appreciated.
God Bless,
Olivia Sarnor
